As part of a large-scale restoration project to this 1920’s midtown duplex, this has to be one of our favorite and most memorable projects. This renovation was inspired by the rich, atmospheric style of the Prohibition era—where bold design and hidden luxury defined the experience. The goal was to transform the original bathroom into a space with personality, depth, and timeless appeal. By incorporating dramatic finishes, vintage-inspired details, and thoughtful lighting, the design creates a moody yet refined environment. The updated layout enhances functionality while maintaining the intimate character of the space. The result is a striking bathroom that blends historic inspiration with modern design—perfectly balancing drama, elegance, and everyday comfort.
